ADR

Virtually every State and Federal Court either requires, or at a minimum encourages civil litigation to enter into some type of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). The overwhelming majority of civil lawsuits are settled before trial, and the percentage of those settled through some form of ADR, such as mediation, is steadily increasing.

Although ADR is not trial, it is an adversarial process and, like trial, preparation and presentation are critical to success. Most experienced lawyers and mediators know that one side typically walks away a “winner”.

In order to assist law firms prepare for mediation, Mr. Klores has assembled a team of professionals, including retired judges, elected officials, corporate and insurance executives and attorneys. On a case by case basis the right team can quickly be assembled to advise and educate on the process and to provide insight into the adversary and the mediator.
